This year marks the 20th anniversary of Take Our Children To Work Day. Established in 1993 as “Take Our Daughters To Work Day” by Gloria Steinem and the Ms. Foundation for Women, this annual event originated out of a need to provide girls with a boost in self-esteem. Ten years later the program was officially changed to a gender neutral occasion that would include boys as well.
